She was picking up guys at bars for one night stands, and taking pills to help her sleep.One night she had just left "Motel Guy" and was going to buy some pills when she got a call from her girlfriend to tell her that Chad Palmer.was dead at a cheap motel. Chad Palmer was the man who had killed her family and just been released from prison two days earlier. Where does she go but to the motel! Just where she has NO business.... Somehow she talks her Sergeant into letting her have the case. With a lot of conditions! #1.She will have a partner, a Rookie named Trent.
